The female-fronted band Evolucija brings symphonic heavy metal to the forefront with their album “The World is Full of Wrath“, released in April 2024.

This Swiss-Serbian symphonic heavy metal band has made a significant mark on the metal scene with their long-awaited studio album, recorded throughout 2023 and produced by metal veteran Marko “Wolfy” Vuckovic, founder of Alister.
The album was expertly mixed and mastered at the renowned Fascination Street Studios in Sweden by Linus Corneliusson and Jens Bogren, further enhancing its polished, powerful sound. At the heart of the band is Ilana Marinjes-von Arx, whose commanding vocals add depth and intensity to the music. The lineup also includes Dragisa Marinjes on bass, Marko “Wolfy” Vuckovic and Darko Konstantinovic on guitars, and Aleksandar Kastevarac on drums.
Released under the 7Hard label, “The World is Full of Wrath” delivers a dynamic symphonic heavy metal experience across ten tracks, blending aggressive riffs, soaring melodies, and cinematic symphonic elements. Prior to the album’s release, the band built anticipation by unveiling four singles, each accompanied by visually compelling music videos.
Evolucija’s newest release stands out for its powerful fusion of traditional metal heaviness and symphonic grandeur, offering listeners a fresh yet familiar experience that pushes the boundaries of the genre.
Inspired by heavy metal legends like Kiss, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Metallica, etc., as well as modern bands such as Nightwish, Epica, and Arch Enemy, Evolucija creates a sound seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary modernity
Founded in Switzerland in 2007 by Dragisa Marinjes, Evolucija gained international recognition with two studio albums released in Germany and Serbia.
Their second album, ”Hunt”, garnered attention and won the Innocent Award for “Best Album of the Year” in 2018.
The band’s involvement in the German film “Die Templerherren” with the official soundtrack “Pale Rider” solidified their presence in the music and film world.
In 2023, Evolucija was honoured with the “Royal Oscar” as the “Best Metal Band in Serbia”.
With successful tours in Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and the Balkans, Evolucija shared the stage with heavy metal giants like Paradise Lost, Doro Pesch, Children of Bodom, Tyr, and Pestilence.
Evolucija aims to connect traditional heavy metal elements with a modern touch, incorporating symphonic, orchestral, and epic influences into their music. Their music conveys intense emotions and clear messages easily understandable for fans.
After the album’s release in spring, Evolucija plans an extensive tour to reach a broader audience and showcase their symphonic heavy metal experience worldwide.

Die Female-Fronted Band Evolucija beeindruckt die Metal-Szene mit ihrem neuen symphonischen Heavy-Metal-Album “The World is Full of Wrath”. Die schweizerisch-serbische Band veröffentlichte das heiß ersehnte Studioalbum im April 2024 unter dem Label 7Hard und begeistert damit Fans und Kritiker gleichermaßen.
Das im Laufe des Jahres 2023 aufgenommene Album, produziert vom Metal-Veteranen Marko “Wolfy” Vuckovic (Gründer von Alister), wurde im renommierten Fascination Street Studios in Schweden von Linus Corneliusson und Jens Bogren gemischt und gemastert.
Angeführt von der kraftvollen Stimme von Ilana Marinjes-von Arx präsentiert Evolucija eine Besetzung mit Dragisa Marinjes am Bass, Marko “Wolfy” Vuckovic und Darko Konstantinovic an den Gitarren sowie Aleksandar Kastevarac am Schlagzeug.
Die Veröffentlichung des Albums “The World is Full of Wrath” ist im April 2024 geplant und wird unter dem Label 7Hard veröffentlicht. Das Album verspricht ein symphonisches Heavy-Metal-Erlebnis mit zehn Tracks, die starke Riffs, mitreißende Melodien und kraftvolle symphonische Untertöne bieten. Um die Vorfreude auf das Album zu steigern, werden drei  Singles vor der Veröffentlichung präsentiert, jeweils begleitet von einem Musikvideo.
